Aerial photographs combined with LiDAR data are used to create orthophoto basemaps for cadastral mapping. True orthophoto is especially suitable for delineation and measurement of cadastral parcels. Enables determination of cadastral data currency.
Infrastructure Design
ALS (Airborne Laser Scanning) is ideal for continuous mapping of long corridors — highways, railways, power lines, gas pipelines. Complemented by MLS (mobile laser scanning) and georeferenced spherical images. Fast orthophoto and DTM can be produced for large areas in extremely short timeframes.
Urban & Spatial Planning
LiDAR scanning combined with aerial photographs provides the most accurate, fastest method with the best price-quality ratio for planning. Projects in cities of Serbia and Republika Srpska, including artificial vertical obstacle databases near airports.
Mining
LiDAR is used for volume calculations, open-pit modeling, terrain change monitoring and mining operation planning.
Archaeology
LiDAR reveals hidden structures under vegetation that would otherwise remain invisible. Mapping and monitoring of cultural heritage in infrastructure development zones.
Forestry
LiDAR has the unique ability to measure forest canopy structure and the ground beneath it. Used for crown density and height determination, deforestation monitoring and 3D tree structure measurement.
Hydrology
LiDAR data is used for flood risk mapping, water flow simulation and flood forecasting. LiDAR signal penetrates to the ground even in dense riparian vegetation conditions, which is crucial for hydrological analyses.

S2IT provides contracted surveying services for LOT 1 of the Banja Luka–Prijedor Motorway (First Phase Banja Luka–Prijedor) in cooperation with the contractor Everit d.o.o. The scope includes GNSS alignment works, daily/monthly site surveying support, reporting and RIA documentation, settlement/structure monitoring, and establishment plus periodic verification of surveying control networks.
Main Road Reconstruction: Control Network & Updated Topographic Base (Mrkonjić Grad)
For the main design of the road reconstruction in the municipality of Mrkonjić Grad, S2IT established the surveying control framework and performed detailed field data capture using a combined GNSS (SRPOS/RTK) and total-station workflow, delivering an up-to-date topographic base in CAD-ready formats for design work.
